African Proverb Number 2

African Proverb Number 2

Do not flee from a roaring lion towards a crouching lion.

This image taken in K.Z.N. South Africa was the result of seeing a lion in the long grass early one morning.
It was only whilst observing the behaviour and taking several images did I realise that it was one of seven in an all male pride (coalition).
The males lions will live together quite happily until there is a dominance issue, and then they will fight.
The result will be that the coalition of lions will then separate and go there own way.
This young male was sitting in the grass watching me, and you only need to look at its gaze to see it means business.
This is why it is not safe to walk as you please and that you stay within the safety of a vehicle.
