Llanstephan & Llanybri Loacl History Society

Llanstephan & Llanybri Loacl History Society

Today I went to the ‘Ben Harries Institute” Llanstephan to see the photographic history of the two villages on display for the fiesta week.

My thanks must go to Eiluned Rees for all her hard work in keeping the records for everyone to view.

Images of the ploughing match held at Llangynog this Easter taken by myself were included in the display as a comparison on the “Now and Then’ of farming, but the images were also included in the local history booklets.

I lived at Llanybri when I first moved to Wales and had a very happy two years there.

  1. Nice pic. All you need now is the sash with Miss Llansteffan on it.
